This weeks BSN Sports / 1070 The fan High School Team of the Week is Carmel Golf. Coming off a 2018 state championship the team is undefeated 13-0 thus far this year.  The greyhounds have their top four guys back from last year’s championship team plus last year’s 6-8 guys as well.  Coach Reid stated “This is a unique group of guys because they are committed to doing unremarkable things with remarkable consistency, intensity, and focus every day… every guy on our team has drastically improved their game during the offseason, and they are hungry to defend our title in June.” Congratulations to this weeks BSN Sports / 1070 The Fan High School Team of the Week!

Carmel Golf

2018 IHSAA State Champions and Regional Champs

2017 IHSAA Runner-up, Regional Champions, Sectional Champions

The Hounds are off to a 13-0 start this year.  We have our top four guys back from last year’s championship team plus last year’s 6-8 guys as well.

“This is a unique group of guys because they are committed to doing unremarkable things with remarkable consistency, intensity, and focus every day.  In an individual sport like golf, it is rare to have five guys on the course that are 100% committed to playing for their teammates, but these guys do it every day.  It sounds hard to believe coming off of a state championship season, but every guy on our team has drastically improved their game during the offseason, and they are hungry to defend our title in June.”
