With The Open Championship coming up this week at Portrush, Dan Dakich is joined by NBC's lead golf analyst and interviewer Steve Sands to discuss all things going on in the golf world. They discuss different golfers and their strengths, Rory Mcilroy, he gives his take on Tiger Woods, the ideal golf weather, what the Portrush weather looks like, and more. The Open Championship is July 17th-20th at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Portrush, Ireland.

His take on expectations for Tiger Woods this week:

"He hasn't played since the U.S. Open and I don't love that. It has been four weeks since he competed. It is one thing to practice at home in shorts and a golf garden and to chip and hit balls and it is another to be out here with everybody watching. The cameras, the people, the adrenaline, inside the ropes, the stakes that you are trying to grab here. I don't see him being anything other than rusty coming into the week. That doesn't mean he doesn't have a chance to win, that doesn't mean he can't make a run at it, but I think it is going to be awfully tough for him to be able to compete this week having not played in the last four weeks."

On who he believes is the best golfer in bad conditions:

"The best bad weather player in the world today, in my opinion, is Rickie Fowler. The caveat to that though Dan, is that he is not playing great right now. To me, he is the player that loves playing in the bad weather the most. By the way, Mcilroy is not a bad weather player. He is the opposite of a Northern Irish man or a European. He is like an Americanized-European player. He likes it when it is nice outside and the golf course is soft, that kind of thing. But, Fowler, is a great bad weather player. He is just not playing well right now so I don't think it is going to matter."
