While this will be a massive sports weekend for the state of Indiana, it is not without the sad note that the Crossroads Classic enters its final installment on Saturday.

Established in 2011 as a recreation of the Hoosier Classic, the Crossroads Classic has pitted the top hoops programs in Indiana against each other every year in this four team showcase.
In order to get us properly prepared, the head coaches that will face each other in Game 2 of Saturday’s double header, Coach Mike Woodson of Indiana and Coach Mike Brey of Notre Dame, stopped by The Dan Dakich Show on Thursday.
Coach Woodson shared how the start of his 1st season at the helm of the Hoosiers has gone and where he feels growth is still needed from IU as the season progresses. Coach Woodson also went over how he feels IU has responded to adversity to his point in the season.

Later, the head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Mike Brey joins to discuss this final crossroads classic and what the Irish may replace it with on their schedule. Additionally, Coach Brey reflects on ND’s upset of Kentucky and shares what makes this version of the Irish special.
