The Indiana Hoosiers finally got their guy.
20 years of question marks is over. 20 years of non-heritage is over. And maybe, 20 years of nothing past the Sweet 16 will be over.
That all depends on what Mike Woodson can do.
The new Hoosiers head man certainly has quite the task in front of him. But here’s the thing. This is nothing like Juwan Howard going to Michigan.
Howard inherited an elite Big Ten roster. Woodson has six guys in the transfer portal.
Thad Matta IS NOT an assistant coach either. He won’t be on the bench. He’s an advisor. This is Woodson’s deal.

“We have to understand something and that’s we are going to put it back together,” Woodson said. “I promise you that. The only way we are going to get our team back on top is I need to go out and recruit top players, develop them, and put them in the best position to be successful.”
