Last season may still feel fresh and next season is still months away, but a fresh chapter starts across the league all the same with the 2022 NFL Draft.

Draft week is finally here which means we only have a few more days to have mock drafts thrown at us from every direction…until next year.

Colts fans not only have to worry about whether the most pressing needs (wide receiver, solidifying the offensive line, etc.) will be filled, but also what their rivals in the AFC South will look like post-draft.

In many ways it is a draft that will have major implications on the Colts chances at winning the South this year. On top of that, it could have a lasting impact on the direction of the franchise in the years to come.

Those goals aren’t the primary concern this week though. That belongs to the voids still present on this roster.

If some quality playmakers and talented pieces head to Indianapolis it could lead to an enjoyable timeline leading up to training camp.

If not, then question marks will continue to plaque this regime until the season begins.

The drama begins live from Las Vegas in just a few short days.

Monday on The Dan Dakich Show we turned to our pal Sean Salisbury who gave us his final thoughts ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Sean looked at the challenges of finding a QB from this year’s pool and speculate on what the Houston Texans could do in a very important draft for the franchise.

Plus, Sean shared which teams he feels are the most likely to make a trade or two over the course of the draft.

Give Dan’s chat with Sean a listen below and don’t miss The Dan Dakich Show, weekdays 12-3pm Eastern, on The Fan.
