With Covid-19 cases on the rise across the country, college basketball once again finds itself being impacted.

Postponements, cancelations and, worst of all, forfeits are all top stories on a daily basis.

Prior to the start of the college basketball season, many conferences instituted forfeiture rules center around Covid-19 protocols. The pandemic was at a much tamer level when these were implemented and now some conferences are modifying on the fly.

The Big 12 and Big West also modified their Covid-19 protocol rules on forfeits and more are expected to follow.

Our friend Seth Greenberg of ESPN stopped by The Dan Dakich Show on Wednesday afternoon to share his thoughts on the forfeit rules found in many conferences across the country and why he feels they should be modified.

Seth also highlighted his top teams in the country and went over who he has as his early National Player of the Year candidates.

Listen to Dan’s chat with Seth below and keep listening to The Dan Dakich Show, weekdays 12-3pm Eastern, on The Fan.
