From now until the start of the Colts season The Dan Dakich Show takes you Behind Enemy Lines to learn about the opponents on the schedule for 2022.

The regular season is almost less than a month away with the pre-season starting in 10 days for the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts will start the season with a pair of road games against AFC South foes in the Houston Texans (Week One) and Jacksonville Jaguars (Week Two). The home opener comes against the second odds on favorite by Vegas to win the AFC in the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes led Chiefs are looking to make their fifth consecutive conference championship game and to their third Super Bowl in the last four seasons following their loss to the Bengals in the AFC Championship.

For the full report on the Kansas City Chiefs, Jimmy Cook turned to the voice of the Chiefs in Mitch Holthus.

During their conversation Holthus spoke on:

  • what he has noticed from the Colts underneath Chris Ballard
  • how the Colts and Chiefs have similar emotions to last season’s ending
  • who will be the pass catcher to replace Tyreke Hill
  • how is former Purdue Boilermaker George Karlaftis looking
  • if this Chiefs defense will be the best defense underneath Andy Reid

Check out Jimmy’s full conversation with Mitch Holthus below and keep listening/watching to the Dan Dakich Show, weekdays 12-3pm eastern, on The Fan.
