The 5A number-five ranked Warriors defeated 4A number two Mooresville 41 – 35 last week in an overtime thriller.
“We didn’t know whether we were going to win or lose,” Whiteland Coach Darrin Fisher said. “But we knew we were going to play our best football game of the year. In the end we had to put the ball behind our best guys, in the hands of our best guys.”
