Sometimes in life there are questions that you cannot possibly answer.

One of those questions is why T.Y. Hilton’s career numbers against the Houston Texans are absolutely ridiculous.

Compared to his stats against the rest of the NFL, it’s crazy.

T.Y. has 93 catches in 17 games facing Houston. That goes along with 11 touchdowns. The next closest? Six career TD’s against the Tennessee Titans.

Friday on The Dan Dakich Show, the Voice of the Texans Marc Vandermeer told DD that Hilton’s dominance over Houston is unlike anything he has seen.

“I don’t have an answer for you on Hilton,” Vandermeer said. “Over the years, Houston has had issues in the secondary, particularly safety. T.Y. tends to get your defensive backs running in circles and he’s so dangerous down field.”

Pair Hilton’s past success with his hot stretch over the last three weeks where he has four combined touchdowns, and the Texans might be in trouble on Sunday.

“The Ghost” caught eight passes for 110 yards and a touchdown when the Colts played down in The Lone Star State a couple weeks back.

“For whatever reason he gets a huge adrenaline rush when he plays the Houston Texans,” Vandermeer added. “And I think he knows it. This goes back to when he was a rookie too. He’s always been deadly against this team.”

A lot of Hilton’s success also goes back to the recent surge for Philip Rivers. The Colts QB has 16 touchdowns to just four interceptions over the last eight weeks. Indianapolis is confident, and it’s on them now to write their own destiny.

Will T.Y. live up to the hype once again on Sunday? This time he’ll have home field advantage.
