Would Dan Dakich Fight Mike Tyson For $1 Million?

How much money would it take for you to get in a boxing ring with 53-year-old Mike Tyson?

The former heavyweight champion took to Instagram earlier this week to show off his impressive skill set:

The man still has it. I don’t think too many people would want a piece of Tyson after watching that video.

But Dan Dakich does, under certain conditions.

Colts reporter and friend of the show, Mike Wells, posed the million-dollar question to Dan on Thursday’s Dan Dakich Show.

“I would do it,” Dakich said. “You know what I would say, Mike? I would say, ‘Here’s what I want. I want a million plus whatever the taxes would be.’ Meaning I want to walk out of there with a million. I don’t want to walk out of there with a million minus taxes, minus promotion…”

Wells chimed in:

“And I don’t want any of my million to have to go towards my medical bill for whatever injuries I’m gonna suffer from being hit [by] Mike Tyson.”

What would the terms of the deal be? Dakich spelled them out for Wells:

“What if they said no headgear? You’re just boxing, Mike…I’ll give ya’ six weeks to get ready. There’s no headgear. And we’ll use…12-ounce gloves, whatever. But you’re getting your ass in there for one round for a million [dollars],” Dan said.

“If Tyson hit me with an uppercut, man, I think he would hit my big ass and send me flying off the canvas, man,” Wells responded. “So I’m not sure about that, Coach.”

Let’s just say ‘Dakich v. Tyson’ has a nice ring to it…
