Eric Ebron's 2019 season came to an end on Monday after the team announced he was being put on IR.

NFL Network's Ian Rappoport reported that Ebron was getting surgery on not one, but both, of his ankles and that the team would be making the move on Monday.

Ebron took to Instagram on Monday afternoon to address Colts Nation.

Ebron finishes 2019 with 31 catches, 375 yards receiving, and three touchdowns. It's been a far cry from his career year in 2018 when he scored 14 touchdowns, 13 of them being of the receiving variety.

Now he will be a free agent following this year and coming off two ankle surgeries.

Could we have seen the last of Eric Ebron in a Colts uniform?
