On how the Colts flipped the script from the Oakland game to Kansas City...

“Sometimes it is circumstances where you are on the road and playing arguably one of the best teams in the league.  You know you are going to have to bring your best and on top of that they were short handed. Everybody else had to pick it up and I think thats what happened.  Guys took it upon themselves to play their best game of the year and they were thinking if we have 45 guys do that we will be ok but anything short of 45 and it's going to be tough.  You had all 45 guys determined to play the best game of the year.”

On rookies and depth…

“It is drafting the right guys who are smart, self motivated and hardworking who will put the time in but it's also Frank Reich and the coaching staff getting to know them and getting to understand them.  He needs to be able to know what he can do well, maybe hide his weaker spots, and put him in situations where he can be successful. They have done a great job as you see all these young guys have come into a handful of positions and succeed. It really is a two way street between the front office and the coaching staff.”

On Jacoby Brissett...

“He is all about winning.  I was there when the whole Andrew Luck thing played out and it surprised me. I can tell you that those players did not have a worry in the world.  They were firmly behind Jacoby. He had taken all the work in the spring and the summer so it wasn’t like you had to throw him in there. That gave him and the team confidence.”
