In 2004, Buddy Rice drove his rain soaked #15 Honda under the Pagoda to celebrate his Indy 500 win as tornadoes surrounded the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It was the biggest win of his career, and the biggest for owners Bobby Rahal & David Letterman. This morning, Buddy joined the morning show crew to talk about that rain filled day, and how he loves returning to the Brickyard every year. This year, Rice will be spotting for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing for the #48 of J.R. Hildebrand. He gives his insights into how a former driver becomes a spotter, what chemistry can be formed in practice, and getting your driver through traffic.
