After the loss to the Tennessee Titans, the injury and COVID-19 situation for the Indianapolis Colts became even more concerning.

The statuses of guys like DeForest Buckner, Denico Autry, and Jonathan Taylor are still up in the air. And the Houston Texans are by no means a cake walk of a game.

But the Colts may have gotten a big break.

The NFL announced on Monday that former Notre Dame star wide receiver Will Fuller, and former first round cornerback pick Bradley Roby have been suspended six games for PED use. The players posted their side of the story on their social media pages. Fuller claims that he was prescribed medication in which he was not aware was illegal to take per NFL regulations.

These aren’t just minor losses for the Texans.

Fuller brought in six catches for 171 yards versus the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving and has eight touchdowns this season. Roby is one of Houston’s biggest threats in the secondary and has 33 solo tackles.

On The Fan Morning Show Tuesday, Michael Grady joined Jeff Rickard and Big Joe and talked with the guys about the suspensions.

“I don’t think Deshaun Watson is at a Patrick Mahomes level, but he’s not far off,” Grady said. “Look at the pieces in Houston. They have nothing. And now one of the best stars in the NFL is getting drowned in a ridiculous situation. The Fuller suspension, Kenny Stills is gone, and DeAndre Hopkins too. It works in the Colts favor from a competitive standpoint.”

If Indianapolis can actually get fully healthy, they’re going to have an even better shot to win on Sunday. They can’t let the AFC South slip away from them, especially when their next opponent is having their own issues.
