The Indianapolis Colts set the tone right from the jump against the Houston Texans on Sunday when Kenny Moore picked off Tyrod Taylor and the blue and white never looked back en route to a 31-0 victory inside NRG Stadium. Indianapolis has outscored Houston 61-3 in their two matchups this season and the defense was dominant against in Week 13.

The Colts allowed just three Texan first downs the entire day giving up just 141 yards of total offense across 50 plays and 11 drives. It was the first time this season Indianapolis held its opponent to less than 200 yards of total offense and the 10th time they forced multiple turnovers in the same contest.

Jeff Saturday joined the program on Monday as he does each and every Monday to recap Colts action over the weekend. The former Colts offensive lineman was more than impressed by what he saw on Sunday:

“From the very first interception from Moore on the sideline, our defense started so hot and Taylor and that whole crew couldn’t get it done. In totality, the physicality that the defense played with was pretty impressive and any shot the Texans had they just missed.”

The Colts head into a bye week 7-6 and still very much in the playoff hunt with four games left on their schedule. The remaining Colts schedule features the Patriots, Cardinals, Raiders and Jaguars.
