On Tuesday’s show of Kevin & Query, the guys were joined by Colts rookie defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo to discuss his rookie season through 10 games, his strip sack in their win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, growing up in Nigeria, his journey to the NFL after a devastating Achilles injury and why roundabouts are his favorite part of Indianapolis so far.

“It’s definitely a reference to all the adversity I’ve gone through in life and with the Achilles injury the last year.  That moment was living out a dream I’ve had as a kid, making plays on Sunday.” – Dayo Odeyingbo on his tweet following his strip sack Sunday against the Jaguars

Odeyingbo also discussed growing up in Nigeria, his relationship with fellow rookie defensive end Kwity Paye and his appreciation for the “Hurricane Dayo” nickname that is quickly spreading across the fanbase.

“I’m just hoping to live up to my name and help the team so if that’s what the fanbase wants it to be, that’s what it is.” – on the Hurricane Dayo nickname
