We’re nearing the end of the NFL regular season and once again, the guys had another very good week! This week they’re giving their predictions for Colts-Raiders, the college football playoff semifinal games and their best plays around the rest of the NFL slate. Brendan King filled in with Kevin but never fear, we have KB’s picks as he sips his virgin daquiri from the Florida beach. As always, here’s the season-long standings through Week 16!
Kevin: 69-29 (2-1 last week)
Jake: 24-14 (1-2 last week)
Marc: 64-32 (3-1 last week)
We’ll start with the semifinal games in the College Football Playoff. Here’s who the guys think will be heading to Indianapolis to play for the National Championship!
#4 Cincinnati vs. #1 Alabama – AT& Stadium – Arlington, TX
Kevin: Alabama 31-20
Jake: Alabama 37-31
Marc: Cincinnati 35-33
Brendan: Alabama 35-17
#3 Georgia vs. #2 Michigan – Hard Rock Stadium – Miami, FL
Kevin: Michigan 24-23
Jake: Michigan 21-17
Marc: Georgia 30-20
Brendan: Georgia 33-14
When it comes to the NFL slate, here’s where the guys leaned: (Kevin did not have any other NFL plays)
Jake: Chiefs (-5.5) to cover vs. Bengals
Marc: Dolphins (+3.5) to cover vs. Titans, Eagles (-3) to cover vs. Washington
Brendan: Under 44.5 in Jets/Buccaneers
Finally, the big game in downtown Indianapolis won’t be the St. Elmo’s shrimp eating contest between Kevin and Marc, though that will have plenty of pre-game fireworks, it’ll be the Colts taking on the Raiders. We all expect Carson Wentz to be under center by Sunday but even still, the guys think the Colts can handle Derek Carr and company!
