INDIANAPOLIS – With another draft cycle on the horizon, Chris Ballard is going to have some nice capital to work with in 2019.

The Colts currently have 4 picks on the first two days of the draft, and could be in line for some compensatory pick bonus soon.

Here’s the current 2019 draft order for the Colts (some of the later round picks will move down a few slots once compensatory picks are announced):

-1-26

-2-34 (from Jets)

-2-59

-3-90

-4-33 (compensatory)

-4-123

-5-154

-6-187

-7-218

Having the Jets finish a woeful 4-12 was a huge help for the Colts having a second-round pick that is just two spots after the end of the first round.

We know Ballard hit a home run on the 2018 Draft. Impactful talent came on both sides of the ball, and the Colts finished the season with 10 of their 11 draft picks on the 53-man roster (Deon Cain-IR was the only draft pick not).

Stacking together another strong draft is key for this fast rebuild to continue to progress.

The early returns on the 2019 Draft indicate a very strong defensive class, especially along the defensive line.
