INDIANAPOLIS – Two weeks before the NBA Draft, the Indiana Pacers are ready to host their first official workout.
That will come on Thursday at the St. Vincent’s Center in Indianapolis, with the following players working out:
G-Jaylen Adams (St. Bonaventure, senior)
G-Marcus Foster (Creighton, senior)
F-Nick King (Middle Tennessee State, senior)
F-Yante Maten (Georgia, senior)
F/C-Brandon McCoy (UNLV, freshman)
G-Landry Shamet (Wichita State, junior)
Based off the names above, Shamet is the only one receiving frequent consideration in the first round of various mock drafts.
The Pacers currently have the No. 23 and No. 50 picks in this year’s draft, which will take place on Thursday, June 21 in Brooklyn.
Even though the Pacers have a pick in each round, do not rule out a trade for them. The Pacers are one of the few teams heading into the draft with some cap space available.
