INDIANAPOLIS – For a fourth straight year, the Indiana Pacers will be on the road to start their playoff journey.

The Boston Celtics (49-33) are the No. 4 seed and will host the No. 5 seed Pacers (48-34) in Round One this Sunday afternoon.

Even though the Celtics underachieved in 2018-19, they did beat the Pacers 3-1 in the season series to claim homecourt.

Boston does have a big injury with guard Marcus Smart expected to miss the series due to an oblique strain. Smart is the team’s best perimeter defender and helped hold Bojan Bogdanovic to just 1-of-8 shooting last Friday.

Despite Victor Oladipo’s absence for 46 games, the Pacers went 23-23 without their star, a vast improvement from last season.

Indiana will be looking for its first playoff series win since the 2013-14 season. They’ve lost their three previous series in 7, 4 and 7 games.

The Pacers have made the playoffs in 8 of the past 9 seasons.

Here is a look at the first-round schedule for the Pacers and Celtics:

Game 1: at Boston, (Sunday, 1:00 on TNT)
