Notre Dame stamped it’s first trip to the College Football Playoff in 2018 before falling to the eventual National Champion Clemson Tigers.

Ian Book returns at the helm at quarterback for Brian Kelly’s squad, and early preseason rankings have the Irish as high as 11th heading into 2019. Two out of their first three games are on the road, and both are tough environments. They start on the road at Louisville for ESPN’s annual Labor Day weekend Monday night game before heading home to South Bend for their home opener against New Mexico. Then they travel south Betweed The Hedges for a battle with Georgia.

USC comes to South Bend in October, then the Irish have to travel to Michigan for a likely primetime matchup, and they end the season like they do every other year at Stanford on Thanksgiving weekend.
