Is Jacoby Brissett the Colts QB of the Future? Rick Venturi breaks down the Colts loss to the Titans

Rick Venturi joined JMV for his weekly segment to dissect what wrong for the Colts vs Tennessee, why this season has become a season of "what ifs" and answering some questions about the future of QB for the Colts, WR overhaul, and improving the place kicking for next year.

On if Brissett is a long term answer at QB for the Colts:

"Ya I have to say that he's not wearing well, I've gone through a whole evolution with him. I remember the 2017 season and there was a lot to like, the intangibles, and yet there were things to worry about. The QBR was never there, the accuracy was never there, and then in training camp this year I didn't think he looked very sharp, there was a lot of carry over from 2017...and then he had a pretty good start to the season, that this was going to be a team that if he made enough plays and he's really tough and he did early in the season all the way to the Denver game where he runs out of the end zone and makes the great throw downfield. Since from when he got hurt he's looked like he was in 2017 he looks a lot more like that preseason doubt that I said before. I think you have to let it play out and definitely let it play out over a whole season before you give a full evaluation."

Why Running back Jonathan Williams didn't play a lot of snaps:

"He slipped on a run, he had the terrible holding penalty that makes you look bad. In the meantime Wilkins looked really good, Hines is playing as good on offense as anyone on the team. They might have thought that the combo of Wilkins and Hines was better but that's life in the NFL, you go from folk hero for two week and all of the sudden you're there grabbing some bench."
