Indianapolis Colts Training Camp… is here!!!

In what has felt like the longest off-season that the Football gods could have ever given us, it’s time to lock in from Grand Park in Westfield.

Just one problem; The Colts will be without their head coach for at least a week.

The absence of Frank Reich will be felt by many. But maybe none bigger than Carson Wentz.

The new Colts QB has been chomping at the bit to get the chance to be on the field with his mentor again. But he’ll have to practice with him virtually for at least a week.

In the meantime, we can once again see the Indianapolis running back unit go back to work. Nyheim Hines, Jonathan Taylor, Marlon Mack, and Jordan Wilkins are not the guys you want to mess with at the line of scrimmage this year.

Hines, who showed his gymnastics skills a year before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics last season, hopped on The Ride with JMV Monday afternoon. As usual, Hines is as astute as they come.

Hines is ready for his unit to take over.

“If you look at all of our games on paper we can play and beat anybody,” Hines said. “We just have to go out there and execute. I think the connection between Carson and I will be fine. Quarterbacks like to find me the ball because I’m always where I’m supposed to be and they trust me.”

Last year, Hines got quite the lesson plan each and every week from Philip Rivers.

It will certainly take time for the roster to adjust to Wentz’s likings and mannerisms. But as Chris Ballard said earlier today in his press conference, it’s time for the boys to go to work.
