Listen Live

We are going to have an absolute battalion this year inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Media Center.

Coming up in the next few weeks, you will hear familiar voices like Greg Rakestraw, Jake Query, Mike Thomsen, and JMV on the radio waves reporting from 16th and Georgetown.

And more than anything, we’re excited to share it all with you.

Also, check out this pace car. DAMN.

That’s a nice piece of machinery.

We’ve already discussed what 135,000 people will add to the festivities for this year’s race. But as Rake pointed out on The Ride with JMV Tuesday, the experience of 2020’s race last August will be a distant memory very soon.

“When I got out there last year and didn’t see another human being on race day I was so depressed as in this doesn’t feel right,” Rake said. “To not have that feeling again when I go to the track is going to be wonderful. To be around a crowd of people doesn’t frighten me, that excites me because it says we’re making a comeback here.”

Amen.

And for those of you who won’t be making the trip to the Speedway for either practice, qualifying, or race day, you can stay tuned with Jake Query and Brendan King for all of your track updates on The Fan, 93 WIBC, and Network Indiana.

If it’s happening at the IMS, we’ve got you covered.
