The Colts look to avoid being swept by the Titans on Sunday for the first time since the 2018 season. A loss likely wipes out any chance of winning the AFC South title, something the Colts haven’t done since 2014 and puts an AFC Wildcard spot that much further out of reach. Colts Star LB Darius Leonard admitted to the importance of the game earlier this week while meeting with the media.

So how do the Colts avenge their loss from Week 3 and take down Tennessee? JMV and ESPN.com Colts Writer Mike Wells talk about what the #1 key to the game for the Colts is:

“Derrick Henry has had a field day against the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium over the years. The Colts defense has to take pride and the reality is that the Titans will go through Henry. I’m sure Mike Vrabel took notes of the 49ers rolling out Jimmy Garoppolo and having success moving the ball down the field last week. That’s Ryan Tannehill’s game. This is a game where the Colts defense is going to have to buck up and out physical the Titans.”

Carson Wentz’s number over the last 3 weeks have been a big turnaround compared to weeks 1-3. JMV wondered if Wentz and Reich were on the same page early in the season or if it took until Baltimore for the two to find a groove:

“This biggest thing is the trust factor between the two. We know that if it was up to Carson he would run the show by himself and that’s what got him in trouble in Philadelphia, trying to be Superman. Frank and Marcus Brady have gotten to Carson and all 3 of them are in sync. You’re seeing it! Carson is balling his ass off on the field. He’s out there playing the way people thought he could when healthy and paired with Reich.”

Will the Colts take down the Titans and make the AFC South a tossup again? We’ll see Sunday at 1:00 ET on CBS! If you missed any of the final preview with JMV, listen to the full show podcast below!
