Frank Reich came out in his local media availability on Wednesday and said Brett Hundley will be the backup quarterback for the Colts against the Dolphins on Sunday. After being the starter in preseason, Jacob Eason has fallen to third on the quarterback depth chart. With Sam Ehlinger coming off IR, is there room for Eason on the roster?
JMV and Morning Show host Kevin Bowen debated whether or not Eason would be cut during the season. JMV thinks everything the Colts are saying this week communicates they’ve given up on him.
“It’s not so much me suggesting that his time is over here, as much as it is the Colts suggesting that by how they are utilizing him. If you weren’t going to play last week, you’re not going to play, right? That’s just the way that it is, so why try to stash him?”
