Dave McGinnis was an NFL Coach from 1986-2016 as well as the Head Coach of the Arizona Cardinals from 2000-2003. He joined JMV Tuesday to get some perspective on how coaches think even after starting the season 0-2:

“In the NFL a team doesn’t start to take shape or form until about 6 weeks in. Everyone is so anxious for the season to start and if your team is successful in the first week everyone thinks you’re going to the Super Bowl and if your team is unsuccessful well then fire everyone. I never make a consensus evaluation on teams until a team settles into their nature by about the 6th or 7th week of the season.”

The Colts look to get on track vs Tennessee in Week 3 potentially without starting QB Carson Wentz. The last time the Colts started the season 0-3 was the Peyton Manning injured neck missed season of 2011.
