It doesn’t matter what the halftime score was.

As egregious as it was, it’s not a matter of Jonathan Taylor getting zero run touches in the third quarter either. (More on that Monday).

No matter what the Indianapolis Colts did against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, if the game was close towards the end, only one thing was happening.

31-31 as we went to the dying seconds of the 4th quarter. All you could do was look at the clock.

Three minutes and 29 seconds were posted on the LED boards across Lucas Oil Stadium. In the world of the GOAT, that’s an eternity.

Brady surgically marched down field. Mike Evans got it rolling with a short catch. Then having the number all day of Rock Ya-Sin, Chris Godwin grabbed a Brady laser beam that took him out of bounds.

After they established the pass, Leonard Fournette continued to carve the Colts defensive interior like it was still this past Thursday at the dinner table.

One after another, and what do you know. A Brady game winning drive; His 51st ever in the regular season. Only Peyton Manning and Drew Brees have more, probably another record that Tom will soon possess.

It was like watching a car accident in slow motion. You knew exactly what was about to happen in front of that sold out crowd.

Brady made it happen. That’s what he does, and he still hasn’t lost to the Colts since 2009.

Of course at that time, he was in a very different uniform from the white, red, and black we see him in now.
