I’m never going to tell an NFL head coach how to do his job.

That’s just not happening. They are paid millions of dollars to coach a sport, and I am behind the mic and keyboard. That’s how it should be.

But for the love of God, I might have to drive down to the Colts Complex and show Frank Reich the efficiency numbers of Nyheim Hines in the red zone.

The Colts have been absolutely brutal in the final third. Is it because Carson Wentz holds onto the ball too long? T.Y. Hilton being out just kills them with weapon options? Or something else? I truly don’t know.

Someone please tweet at me @BKingSports so I can stop pacing in my friend’s living room while we’re watching Scott Hanson’s Red Zone and I can just have a relaxing Sunday.

When Hines gets the ball, good things happen. Which leads to me this.

How the hell does Hines get TWO touches against the Los Angeles Rams? And how in the world is he getting SIX total carries versus Tennessee after what he did on that touchdown?

I get that Hines caught the ball five times and the Colts were playing from behind. I really do.

But if your team mentality that you expect people to rally behind is “Run The Damn Ball“, you need to run the damn ball. Jonathan Taylor had 10 carries on Sunday.

Sure, JT hasn’t been great through three games. But the questions have to come up that if the Colts have such a great offensive line, and they have the most underrated running back room in the league, where is the run game?

It’s not like Sunday helped Wentz’s ankles in any way. Get back to the run.

Sunday brings a revenge game against Jacoby Brissett and the Miami Dolphins. Then you have Justin Houston and the Baltimore Ravens coming for Wentz in Week 5.

Hines is being underused, Wentz is going to hobble his way to Miami, and Hard Knocks is going to be lit from the training room.

0-3 doesn’t feel good.
