JMV had the day off and Derek Schultz makes his return to the airwaves on a Friday on 93.5 and 107.5 the Fan.
The million dollar question surrounding the Pacers organization is simple: if you’re going to trade one of the bigs, who do you trade? Domantas Sabonis or Myles Turner? Derek shares his thoughts on perhaps the first domino that needs to fall to change the direction of the blue and gold in Indianapolis.
“I don’t think it matters as long as you move on from one of them. They tried this ‘Turbonis’ thing and, to some extent it was ok, like it’s not a failure or anything, but it’s just time to move on. You need to figure out what you’re going to be and neither of those guys can maximize who they are while the other one is standing in the way.”
With the news that the Pacers are open to the idea of dealing most of the important players on the roster, an answer to this multi-year long question about the Pacers frontcourt might have an answer sooner rather than later.
