INDIANAPOLIS Despite not practicing in nearly three weeks, it looks like T.Y. Hilton is good to go for Thursday’s contest in Nashville.

The Colts will take on the Titans this Thursday night, in an 8:20 PM kickoff. Normal short-week injury concerns that always seem to rise for NFL teams aren’t really there for the Colts, with TE-Jack Doyle (concussion) being the only player ruled out for the pivotal matchup with the Titans.

Here are the final injury/roster notes as the Colts head to Nashville:

  • T.Y. Hilton has not participated in a real Colts practice in nearly three weeks (Thursday, October 29th was his last practice, before getting hurt against the Lions two days later). But on this week’s final injury, Hilton had no game status, indicating he is good to go for Week 10. Following Hilton getting hurt against the Lions, Frank Reich said that the veteran wideout would need to practice in order to play. But this week’s condensed schedule had the Colts only having walk-throughs, so any true testing of Hilton’s groin had to come in a separate indoor session. The Colts are 1-10 in games Hilton has missed.

  • It was always a long shot for Jack Doyle (concussion) to play on a short week. He is OUT for Thursday. This will be Doyle’s second missed game of the season. Without Doyle, expect expanded roles for Mo Alie-Cox and Trey Burton. Alie-Cox (knee) is listed as questionable, but he’s expected to play on Thursday. When Doyle missed the Vikings games in Week Two (and with Trey Burton still sidelined), Alie-Cox played a season-high 67 percent of the offensive snaps. He had 5 grabs for 111 yards. Alie-Cox leads NFL tight ends in averaging 16.1 yards per reception.

  • On Wednesday, the Colts placed LB-Matthew Adams on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He’s the first Colts player to go on the list since training camp started in late July. It is believed that Adams going on this list is because he’s considered a close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 outside of the organization. Adams missed walk-through on Monday and Tuesday, listed as a ‘non-injury related’ absence. The Colts were in ‘intensive protocol’ this week. It is not known whether this was because of Adams’ situation or because of last week’s staff member testing positive.
