NBC sports announcer and former Indy 500 racer Townsend Bell joins Jeff & Big Joe to talk about the upcoming race and Carb Day.  He is excited to now be watching the race from a media perspective having retired from racing.

Will the team with the best start be the team to win or the team that makes the quickest pitstops?

"I always look to the drivers that look comfortable early in the practice.  They move around they'll go to the front, move around to the back.  They aren't on pitlane very much they're just out on the track pounding around.  So far, (Alexander) Rossi has been the class of the field in practice candidly.  I was talking to him the other day and he told me that the car is looking really good and that they havent made a whole lot of changes.  Same holds true for Marco Andretti and Conor Daly seems happy on that Andretti team.  The Penske guys have really taken a lesson on how Andretti has practiced historically through the years the multi-car running.  Roger now has his guys more in that format.  For me, those are the two teams that stand out.  Ed Carpenter also stands out."

Townsend Bell looks very excited to get the race underway this weekend.  1070 the Fan will be sure to keep everyone updated.
