The Fan Morning Show is joined by writer from azcentral.com, Greg Moore. Greg has covered the Phoenix Suns for azcentral.com and he gives his insight on former Phoenix Sun and now Indiana Pacer, T.J. Warren. He discusses the Suns bringing in Monty Williams, what Pacers fans can expect out of T.J. Warren, and more.

On what fans can expect out of T.J. Warren:

"What you're getting is a really old man in a really young man's body. I have seen T.J. Warren compared to Antwan Jamison, I have heard T.J. Warren be compared to Paul Pierce. What you're going to get with T.J Warren is a guy that never smiles. I did not see a smile out of him until just the other day when I saw he did an interview with NBA TV about showing up in town for you guys. He is a quiet guy. When he scores, he tends to score from mid-range spots. I have seen him score 40, I have seen him score 35, I have seen him be compared to one of those up and comers who was say, in line for most improved player, and he did it all without a three. So then, they criticized that part of his game and he turned around added a three and I think he shot 40 some-odd percent from the three last season. Now, the problem is, he doesn't play a whole lot. We are looking at a guy who has never played more than 66 games in his career and typically, he is somewhere in the 40s. That durability is going to be a problem. If you are looking for a guy who can shoot off-balance shots, floaters, I got you one. I talked to a couple of old-timers. There is a guy I know who goes back to the days of Chamberlin, goes back to the days of Russell, and he and I talk all the time. He tells me that T.J. Warren is as cute and clever around the basket as anybody he can remember and he would have loved to have a guy like that back in his day. That is the kind of guy that T.J. Warren is, nickname is Tony Buckets. I will give you another piece of this. If you guys know anything about music, there is this thing out there called rap music and these days it is terrible. But, back in my day, rappers had a conscious. Back in my day, rappers were trying to uplift themselves in their community and there was this one guy named Nas who had this song that he has a bunch of little kids singing 'I know I can be what I wanna be, and if I work hard at it, I can be what I wanna be.' T.J. Warren's favorite rapper is Nas. Nas hasn't had a good album since T.J. Warren was born...All I am saying about T.J. Warren is that this is an old man. He is an old man in a young man's body. He can score so while you guys are waiting for Victor Oladipo to come back, he is the kind of guy that can carry an offense."
