It will be a really special moment this weekend in Toronto ahead of the Honda Indy Toronto race. Robert Wickens will be hopping back into a car to drive the parade lap before the green flag drops.

He made the announcement today on his Facebook page

"Probably just as exciting as when I shared my first steps, but I am getting back into a car. And not only that, I'm getting into an Acuransx with hand controls prepared by Arrow...I will be doing the parade lap before the start of the race, so I get to basically be pole position for the race kinda, which is a blast," Wickens said in the video.

"I'm just so excited, I can't wait to get a helmet on and go around in an amazing car."

Wickens then went on to give a shoutout to his fiancé, saying he will be driving her around in the car with him during the parade lap, and how it will be a little payback for her being his chauffeur since last August.

"I'm so excited to see everybody during the Honda Indy Toronto weekend...I can't wait to get going, I need to learn these hand controls to see how quick I am. I'm going to be driving as fast as I can. Can't wait to see everyone at the track and to have a good time," Wickens ended the video with.

Honda Indy Toronto starts this Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
