Jonathan Taylor solidified his spot as a top RB in the NFL Thursday night vs the Jets with 200 all purpose yards and 2 TD’s, including a jaw dropping 78 yard TD run. Taylor is currently 2nd in the NFL with 821 rushing yards on only 140 carries, a 5.9 yards per rush average and 9 total TD’s.

With Titans RB Derrick Henry on IR with a foot injury, has Jonathan Taylor taken the mantle of RB “King” away from him? ESPN.com Colts Writer Mike Wells joined JMV after the Colts win vs the Jets to discuss where Taylor now ranks in the NFL RB Hierarchy:

“I think Jonathan Taylor is the best running back not named Derrick Henry in the NFL. Here’s another thing, I don’t think Jonathan Taylor realizes how good he is yet. He’s so humble and I’m sure it helps he has Nyheim Hines with him but Taylor doesn’t realize how good he is and I hope he stays that way because he’s going to go out there and produce for years to come for the Colts.”

Just like the 2018 Draft class for the Colts with Quenton Nelson and Darius Leonard the 2020 class led by Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr is looking to be special in only their 2nd year in the NFL.

If you missed any of JMV’s thoughts about the game and especially what he thinks of the defense (hint: it’s bad) listen to the full show podcast below!
